Of Wool and Fringe

Just finished a fringed wool shawl for Caroline and thought I'd share a few pictures. :)  I used the instructions found HERE.  I used around 2 yards of medium/lightweight wool, free to me from the stash.  This shawl was fairly easy to complete, but the fringin' did take a while.  Quite a while.  :)

What?  You think that's the chair I sat in?  Well how'd you know???
floor fringe as well.  will be vacuum fringe soon too.
So that's it, just a quick post this time!  I've got to get back to sewing! (and pinning on Pinterest....this pins and boards thing is taking up my life!!!!!)  Hope ya'll are having a wonderful week!

    1. Yes it really was! (and thank you! :D) I like quick things...but with just enough interest to not be really boring. I must say, I didn't appreciate yours enough before I made this one, but I do now!

  2. Oh awesome, Theresa! Who's shawl is that? It will be present on Friday, right? lol Can't wait to see it! It's perfectly lovely! The shawl I have wasn't made by me, and I think it's part polyester : / so that stinks! lol But it's a very pretty navy blue, so i don't mind too much!

Love ya' and can't wait to see you girls!

    2. OMG! I am so embarrassed! lol (I'm a ding-dong!) Well then, can't wait to see it! :D If it's 2 yards, I wouldn't worry about shrinkage much :D 2 yards is a LOT of material! lol

      Love ya'
